The Way We Went Wild: Programme 3  (2004)

From Bristol pets to an elephant enima

The final episode of the The Way We Went Wild trilogy, this hour long programme explores the backgrounds of a new generation of natural history presenters, who all grew up with animals in the wild.

Examining the early years of three emerging wildlife television presenters, the show details the adventures of Saba Douglas-Hamilton in Africa, Charlotte Uhlenbroek in Nepal and Steve Leonard in rural Cheshire.

Interviewing family, friends and celebrity fans, The Way We Went Wild: 3 offers an intriguing insight into both the personal and professional lives of the accomplished new faces of wildlife television.
