Starlings at Work  (1983)

Wildscreen Film Entry, 1984

For 6 years the biologist Joost Tinbergen worked on the foraging theory of starlings. To do this it was necessary to observe one individual starling from dawn to dusk for several seasons. At a biological field station a colony of starlings was founded and by using an observation tower and automatic cameras in the nest boxes, this film was made.
