The Willow  (1981)

This is a portrait of the wild willow trees of Britain and was filmed on the Somerset levels where these trees form an integral part of the habitat.  The film shows the abundance of wildlife which is attracted to and supported by the willows as well as showing the many materials that man can extract from this small but resilient tree.
