Sealion Summer  (1981)

Wildscreen Film Entry, 1982

When the brief sub-Antarctic summer comes to Enderby Island, so does the World's rarest sealion - Hooker's sealion.  This film studies the ritual of the sealions short breeding season - their arrival and terratorial disputes; the bulls contesting to become beach masters; the matings and the births and the pups' growth and explorations before they are ready for life in the Southern Ocean.
