Seven years ago, the Colorado division of wildlife set up a unique fund-raising system for its nongame programme. Local people who were eligible for a state tax refund could donate money to the division. To keep this scheme going, the division produced a film highlighting several programmes funded by this system. It features 4 projects, among them efforts to increase the dwindling Peregrine falcon population in Colorado; and a scheme to reintroduce the Otter.
