The Remarkable Willow Grouse  (1983)

This film follows the Willow grouse of Norway from it's survival in winter to the hatching of its young in late summer. We see how the birds live in the winter by feeding on birch buds and digging snow holes against the blizzard. With the winter over, the film studies their territorial displays, their courtship and breeding cycle.
