Escale Geese
(1983)
Also known as: L'Escale des Oies
When the Siberian cold becomes unbearable, the Brent goose (Branta bernicla) travel as far as France. At the beginning of November 60,000 geese arrive on the coasts and ornithologists have a date with them. They take the opportunity to observe their habitats by ringing them. But, the presence of these legally-protected birds creates some problems as they feed in the farmers' fields. They must, therefore, be chased away with rocket-launching guns.
