Time is running out for the Black stilt (Himantopus novaezelandiae) - New Zealands rarest wading bird. These birds are superbly suited to living high up in the Mackenzie country but predators and competitors are ensuring that their days are numbered. This documentary looks at what happens each year at nesting time when the stilts are beseiged by unwantd guests.
