The Nature of Australia: Land of Flood and Fire  (1988)

The first people arrived onto the northern shores of Australia 50,000 years ago. They brought with them a tool that was to reshape the nature of the continent- fire. This programme paints a portrait of Australia during all its seasons and the relationship that the Aborigines have with the land. Land of Flood and Fire won the 1988 Wildscreen Festival Special award.
