The Natural World (BBC 1983 - 2012): Running for their Lives  (1991)

The African Wild Dog is the most misunderstood and endangered of all the continent's great predators. This programme provide a fresh view of their intensely social lives as they search for food, battle with lions and hyaenas and suffer the ravages of disease. As the story unfolds it becomes clear why these nomadic hunters are struggling for survival.

Running for their Lives won the 1992 Wildscreen Festival Special award.
