Survival Special: Safari by Balloon  (1975)

The flight over Mount Killimanjaro in Tanzania in a hot air baloon at a height of 25,000 feet was for Survival cameraman Alan Root and his wife (in 1975) Joan, the ultimate experience in a series of spectacular adventures.  Alan Root acquired the ballon to capture unique film of wild animals such as wildebeest and to film over the plains of East Africa.  But learning to fly this curious craft and the resulting journeys above kenya and tanzania provide a humerous account of their personal adventures in the hot air balloon.  Their experiences are narrated by David Niven.
