Doyen diver Jacques Cousteau personally leads his divers on an underwater probe of secret Mexican caverns - the haunts of sleeping sharks. This film features shark expert Ramón Bravo Prieto and a lobster diver who first discovered that sharks in the area "rest" in underwater caves. At Isle Mujers, Jacques Cousteau's divers descend to the caves to find that sharks fast asleep, including nurse and bull sharks, the latter very dangerous and responsible for many deaths from Yucutan to Florida.
