In the Protection of the Wilderness (1974)

This film covers a journey made in 1974 through the Mexican jungle in search of rare orchids in the state of Chiapas through mangrove swamps and, eventually, by plane to the desendants of the Mayas, the Lacandons, who are doomed by sickness and degeneration.
