The Tiger's Tale  (2000)

Still a lot to learn

An absorbing insight into the early life and development of these elusive and endangered big cats, The Tiger’s Tale follows an experienced tigress as she struggles to keep her latest trio of cubs out of trouble. Beautifully filmed in India’s Bandhavgarh National Park, intimate footage follows the cubs as they suckle, play-fight and feast on the daily kills their mother provides.

Facing a vast array of dangers, even from their own father, memorable scenes depict the close relationship that slowly develops between the old male and his son. Interspersed with footage of the Park’s numerous other inhabitants this Partridge Films production is an engaging and atmospheric look at the lives of young tigers.
