The World About Us (1967 - 1987): Countdown for the Everglades
(1971)
Cape Kennedy, the launch pad for mankind's latest space venture, lies on the coast of Florida - a State with an expanding population faced with one of the earth's oldest problems.

It is the haunt of the alligator, and a wealth of water birds, fish, snakes, deer and other creatures who all depend on water. People want to live there too. Now this unique river is running dry and Tony Soper travelled two thousand miles in Southern Florida to find out why.
