Jim Cryan 

Jim Cryan was a longstanding and successful BBC film editor, working on a variety of documentaries from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

His earliest credits include episodes of the fun-filled children's show Animal Magic (in 1966), the language series Mother Tongue (1967) and, in 1968 the two part Wild Jamaica feature, following the future members of Oxford Scientific Films on their Caribbean vacation.

Jim also worked on scores of films for The World About Us and Wildlife on One strands and edited Chris Parsons' successful countryside series, In Deepest Britain (1977-78).

Jim died on the 25th May 2006.
