African Seafari  (1970)

Kenya's three-hundred mile coastline tends to get overlooked in a country whose main attraction is 'big game'.  But, offshore the warm waters of the Indian Ocean have encouraged the growth of a fringing coral reef of great beauty.  Nowadays the traditional safari is turning seawards in snorkels, aqualungs and glass-bottomed boats and problems are arrising of organising and maintaining the newly established marine reserves.  A team of scientists from the University College of North Wales recently [1969] visited Malindi and Watamu to assist with the development project.
