Stanislaw Yosef-Bronikowski 

Writer, explorer and filmmaker.  Bronikowski studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw and the School of Journalism.  During World War II he was an Army soldier and in the years 1945-1956 he was arrested several times for his work in the Freedom and Independence organization  (Wolnosc i Niezawislosc) "WiN".  In the years 1956 to 1960 he became a member of the staff of "Around the World", in the years 1960 to 1995 editor of TVP (Polish state television).   Bronikowski was an author of many popular films about nature, environmental, ethnographic, archaeological, geological and religion.

Yosef-Bronikowski died in London aged 91.
